What is the price of your service?

What services do you offer?

My services include, *Consultations. *Extensive Photographic Coverage. *Private Password Protected Online Gallery. *Choice of 1 or 2 Photographers. *Album Design and Luxury Graphistudio Albums.

What does the wedding package include?

Wedding Photography Collections start at £950 for a Full Day. You will receive 600+ Edited High Resolution Images delivered digitally plus an Online Gallery to share with family and friends, with full personal copyright licence. All prices include VAT and include travel and accommodation expenses in the UK. In addition, I offer a choice from the range of luxurious Graphistudio Albums. Albums at highly competitive prices starting from £350.

How far in advance should I contact you?

As soon as your date is planned and you have confirmed your wedding venue then you need to book your photographer. Having said that, I would be more than happy, at any stage of your planning, to talk you through what photography services are available. More importantly, I would like to hear from you of any special images you would like me to capture so I am able to capture your day as you dream it.

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No. You have me exclusively for your date.

Are you able to travel?

Yes. I have, and continue to, photograph weddings throughout the UK, the Channel Islands and Europe. If you are planning a long-haul destination wedding please do get in touch.

What is the charge for travelling?

Whichever Wedding Photography package you choose, there will not be any additional costs unless we have explicitly agreed these beforehand. If I choose to travel to your wedding day location the day before or stay close to the location when your celebrations have finished, any accommodation or meals will be at my cost.

What style of photos do you take?

The wedding ceremony itself, or the reception, my style of wedding photography is best described as authentic and honest. I focus on candid and natural expressions with a hint of direction from me! I love finding amazing opportunities in ordinary settings and scenery, and bringing out the most comfortable side of you. I have been photographing weddings for over 3 years and my experience tells me that all weddings will have opportunities for emotive photojournalism. Throughout the day, I will be seeking out those natural, romantic moments too, when the two of you are alone reflecting on how your day is unfolding. When the time is right, I will be looking for those golden moments to shoot against beautiful natural backdrops or dramatic skies which can only be captured with the sun low in the sky and an in-depth knowledge of photographic technique and professional lighting. The same techniques will be employed to bring out the very best images of your first dance as a married couple and of your friends and family as they celebrate long into the evening. I appreciate clients who appreciate detail. I shoot weddings to include all those little pieces and parts you have woven together to make it YOUR day but I will also be focusing on those candid, unscripted moments that WILL happen – and would probably be forgotten in the fullness of time – unless captured for you and your family to treasure forever.

What kind of equipment do you use?

I use the latest high-end Canon equipment (I always carry 2 bodies) and prime Canon lenses. I have undergone extensive training in photographic lighting techniques and will deploy the use of professional lighting equipment at the appropriate times to ensure we function effectively throughout the event, especially after the sun has gone down.

Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?

The high-resolution images are delivered on a beautifully presented and password protected online gallery. From this gallery you can download hi-res files, print high quality prints and canvasses, send photos to family and friends, share them on Facebook or use them in any other way you can think of!

Do you send all the photos taken?

No. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, images I consider are unflattering and other images that may dilute the overall quality you would expect. As I shoot with low apertures, sometimes I take a few extra shots to make sure I have the perfect focus. I don’t expect you to have the expertise, or the time, to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so I spend hours doing that for you. Every image delivered to you is post-produced. This involves colour correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping and other corrections. Some wedding photographers do not edit any images, or will only post-produce selective images from your wedding. This means that you may have pictures that are too dark, have strange skin tones or other common photography flaws. Every single one of the 500+ images you receive will be edited.

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

There is a highly skilled team behind Atkins Studios Photography. Most couples ask for 2 photographers to cover their day and I am always the lead photographer. I will be your sole point of contact leading up to the wedding and on the day itself.

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

All weddings I have undertaken to date have been carried out by myself. Over the years I have built up a network of professional wedding photographers to call upon, if needed.

Do you charge per hour or per event?

The fee is for the entire event - from getting ready in the morning and then all the way through to capture those fun celebrations on the dance floor!

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Of course - and this could include any family events you are planning on the evening before your wedding day.

How do you charge extra time?

We will discuss how you want to use my services over and above our usual event coverage and decide on any additional fee. You will find me more than able to accommodate your requirements.

What are the forms of payment?

Bank transfer please.

How do you work?

Firstly, there is no wedding too small or too far away that doesn’t deserve to be beautifully documented. Whether you are planning an intimate wedding with just your closest friends and family, or something on a grander scale, I will ensure your precious memories are preserved to share with loved ones, for ever. Good photography is more than a fancy camera. I’ve spent years perfecting my skills and countless hours photographing weddings. I know how to get the shot predictably, every time. I know what makes a great composition and how to capture feelings and show emotions, in a beautiful way. As a professional wedding photographer, I will know the flow of the day having photographed many weddings before, so know exactly where to be positioned for the perfect angle for your first kiss, or when that close family member sheds a tear. I won’t be fazed by bad lighting conditions. Whether it be a dark church ceremony or dance floor, or an overly bright reception hall, I know within seconds where the best light will be, and the best spot to stand. To unlock the secret of good wedding photography you need to choose a professional photographer who can stay fully focused for what is likely to be 10 hours or more. I truly believe that what makes a wedding are the people you choose to invite. That’s why at your wedding, your VIP’s become my VIP’s. I understand weddings are more than just the union of two individuals – they are to celebrate the coming together of two families. That is why I will ensure we devote proper time and attention to family members, as well as the happy couple. There are times during the day when I need to focus on natural posing. Whether you feel awkward in front of a camera or are a natural, I will make sure I give you as much direction as you need to create natural, comfortable poses. I will always pay attention to unflattering angles and awkward expressions. At the same time I will be creating an environment where your personalities and affection for each other are the focal points, and when the sun starts to go down my focus will turn to you, friends and family members having FUN!! Choosing the right professional wedding photographer will not be easy. My advice to couples is always to make sure you CONNECT with the photographer you decide on. Make time to get to know each other and then it won’t feel like you have invited a stranger to your wedding. You will be surprised at what a difference this can make to your final photographs.

Do you have Liability Insurance?

As a professional wedding photographer the answer is yes, both Public and Private Liability Insurance. Many venues require the photographer to have Liability Insurance. So if you are thinking of hiring Uncle Gbenga, make sure he’s covered!

We live some distance from you, so meetings to discuss our wedding photography will be difficult. Are there any other options?

I would love to meet with you before your wedding day but we can handle everything remotely if you prefer. Just let me know what information you need and I should be able to accommodate any request. For example, if you would like to see more of my work, I can gladly show you complete events online. We will need to discuss timelines for the wedding day, as well as getting to know each other better, so telephone calls and webcam appointments can be arranged.

How does the wedding album design process work?

After you have viewed and selected your images, we will design the album layout for you so it accurately reflects the events of your wedding day. This can then be proofed through your password protected online gallery. Once you are happy with the design you can expect to receive your Graphistudio album in around five to six weeks.

How do I reserve you for my wedding date?

It's simple, dates are reserved once i receive your deposit.

What is your Covid-19 Policy?

For weddings and events, if the client cancels before the wedding date due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Atkins Studios will REFUND the full wedding / event deposit paid. If client cancels wedding / event for any other reason than COVID-19 outbreak Atkins Studios will hold the deposit as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be made in writing, or by e-mail. 

if the client requires to change or postpone the wedding date due to COVID-19, I will do my best to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available.
